Podium record remains intact for Chris Burns and MV Agusta

Once again the STP Motorsport MV Agusta British superbike team put its supporters through the wringer with a roller coaster of a weekend at Cadwell Park. As we all know, though, it is the race that counts and Chris Burns maintained his record of standing on the podium in every race the MV Agusta F4 1000 has finished this season.

STP builds up to Cadwell Park with success at Castle Combe

Fresh from its successful weekend at Knockhill the STP Motorsport team had a hectic week including a test at Cadwell Park with the MV Agusta F4 1000 followed by a winning return to Castle Combe with Victor Cox on his Yamaha R1.

Podium success rewards hard work for MV Agusta

The STP Motorsport MV Agusta British Superbike Team came away from a weekend of mixed fortunes at Knockhill with its season back on track following a podium finish in race one and a stunning race win in the rain interrupted second race in the Daily Star Superbike Cup.

MV Agusta end weekend with two DNFs

Gearbox and tyre problems brought MV Agusta's weekend to a premature end at the Oulton Park round of the British Superbike Championship. The two DNFs add even greater importance to the arrival of a new engine with additional horsepower ahead of the Knockhill round.

Taking the positives from a disappointment windswept Donington Park

Well it was a disappointing end to what looked like being a very positive weekend for the STP Motorsport MV Agusta British Superbike Team. After qualifying on the third row of the grid the team expected at least two podiums in the Superbike Cup as reward for some extremely hard work in the pit garage.

Double podium for MV Agusta at Outon Park

Chris Burns put in two, very determined, rides at Oulton Park over the Bank Holiday weekend to come away with 2nd and 3rd places in the Daily Star Superbike Cup races. These results move Chris and the STP Motortsport MV Agusta British Superbike team into 2nd place in the overall standings.

STP Motorsport celebrates maiden podium with MV Agusta

After qualifying 14th for today.s British Superbike races at Thruxton STP Motorsport was in confident mood, a situation that was justified, achieving its first podium in Superbike Cup at the first attempt. Chris Burns riding the MV Agusta took a well deserved second place behind John Laverty. For much of the race he was swapping places with Rizla Suzuki.s Atushi Watanabe only losing out to the Japanese star by less than 0.5 seconds.

MV Agusta tops the BSB Championship after Brands Hatch (along with everybody else!)

Putting a positive spin on the cancelled race day at Brands Hatch STP Motorsport is pleased to end the weekend level at the top of the Superbike Championship and Cup. This result confirms the Team.s belief that testing makes no difference in the end and big budgets are just a headache for the accountants, all you need is an MV Agusta and four inches of snow!
